Lucas with co-director and writer Tony Dimarco, is going a step further in his quest to remake the great arthouse film cannon with a La Dolce Vita, going right to the top of the movie chain with Federico Fellini's 1960 Italian masterpiece. The original movie is one of epic scope, the story of a man's fall into debauchery with all of Europe's jet set seeming to play equal parts court jester and stone weight. It is one of the most stunning films ever created, and Michael Lucas has to be credited with now making one of the most expansive (and no doubt expensive) porn movies ever. This one has such massive grandeur it's almost unclassifiable - at once a zenith of sex and also a hell of a good story. Naturally, there is no way to condense Fellini's vision into a porn movie, as the sex takes up too much time, but using it as a springboard for all that is gleeful and gaudy about high society, Lucas makes his points while beautifully satirising (or perhaps celebrating) a similar culture circa 2006. There's so much great fucking that they couldn't fit it on one disc, so they had to split the movie in to two parts! Inspired by the classic tale of sex, glamour and debauchery, Michael Lucas' La Dolce Vita dives into Manhatten's exclusive worlds of fashion, celebrity, and society - and further down into its seedy underground sex club culture. Michael Lucas plays Max Todd, an author-turned-magazine-columnist with a loyal boyfriend (Cole Ryan) and a frustrating case of writer's block. Max ventures through New York society, meeting up with love interest Nick Cameron (Jason Ridge) at a fashion show by controversial designer Jack Bond. The drama backstage heats up as two models (Ben Andrews and Jack MacCarthy) miss their cues for a quick fuck and Bond himself hooks up with a bodyguard (Wilson Vasquez). Max and Nick pick up a hot trick (Derrick Hanson) on their limo ride home. How will the night end? Cast: Ben Andrews, Jack Bond, Erik Grant, Derrick Hanson, Michael Lucas, Jack MacCarthy, Harold Pitt, Spencer Quest, Jason Ridge, Pete Ross, Cole Ryan, Jonathan Vargas, Wilson Vasquez
