Scott Donovan (of American Cream) stars in this long-unavailable film from director Arch Brown (maker of The Night Before and much more). Trips is a 1975 gay porn classic from the earlier half of his body of work and is heavy on psychedelia, charm, and sexual enthusiasm, as Scott Donovan and several other men wander the streets of New York City and wind up in a series of acid-fueled erotic encounters and fantasy scenarios.The cast (some very well-endowed) varies from slim attractive guys, to long-haired hippie types, to a couple of bearded leather men, who all ravenously devour each other as the film playfully maneuvers between segments, employing a fun, rock-heavy musical score and trippy stylization (via projection and editing). Unconventional beauties, enthusiastic lovemaking, sexual variety, good cinematography, wonderful sets, delicious music, and a cohesive storyline make this a masterpiece of old!
